but no, they simply decided to cancel it instead of making one or two more extra episodes so we can finally have a conclusion. -
Can't believe another well written- great plots, good cast, and awesome visual effects show is cancelled again. Hard to find good science fiction television these days. Seems like anytime there is a show with any visual effects like in Alphas. The Studios realize oops " going to cost to much money". Maybe Sci-fi channel can go back to being about what made them a channel to begin with in the first place. Heres hoping...

it was cancelled for the same reason all the other good sci-fi shows like fringe, heroes, 4400, eureka and many others were cancelled, because this world is run by religion so anything that goes against that isnt allowed even if it is a fictional tv show with higher ratings than most of the drivel our eyes are assaulted with

That is it - I am done watching new series that gets me hooked and they cancel it 1-2 seasons in and leaving us hanging. This was the only show on Syfy that I watched so I don't see my watching this station again anytime soon.

Goodbye Alphas. You were going to be my substitute for Heroes. But like ALL good shows you were cancelled on a cliffhanger. Thank you for being a GREAT show, you will be missed (sigh) :(

I agree, Its not a bad show I don't think it should have been cancelled so soon. If you liked this and haven't seen Warehouse 13 and Haven then they are both worth checking out.

this show is hands down the best show on syfy in my opinion, great acting. awesome writing. if you want a different take on modern super heros with some realism. this is the show for you.

pilot was pants, but then i thought stick with it, as it could take time to develop and be better for it. pah! this series is one big rip off, every episode reminds me of something i've watched before, and of lesser quality in every way. what is david strathairn doing, he's way too good for this.

I have just started to watch it,. & After the 1st one I thought it's ok not all that ,. Thought I'll watch another & thought not bad., Watched the 3rd & now I think this is a cool drama,. Getting into it now...lol I Like It!! :-)

cant wait for this to start back up. i like this show cuz if u had to imagine that humans will develop these types of powers it would be plausible loool i makin sense? unlike heroes timetravelling, immortality, invulnerability etc etc super strength from ubber adren glands makes sense looool im not makin sense looool i cant explain myself properly. Alpas = modern day X-Men, end of season reminded me of X-Men 1 lol

40 minutes into first one and im really not enjoying it one little bit!! i know sometimes pilots can be really iffy, so gonna stick it out til the end and then make a desicion on wether ill watch any more or not

Not a big fan of Science-fiction. But this I really like. The show is different then others. And I have to say, the acting is great. Especially the guy who plays Gary does a great job
