In each nation there's a group of gifted people known as Benders who have the ability to manipulate their native element using martial arts and elemental magic. The only one who could have prevented it was the Avatar. The Avatar is the human incarnation of the Spirit of the World, he alone can master bending all four elements. But, just when he was needed most, he disappeared. Now, 100 years later, a young Waterbender named Katara and her older brother Sokka stumble upon the long lost Avatar, Aang, who was encased in an iceberg for 100 years. Now, they must help Aang master all four elements before summer when Sozin's grandson Fire Lord Ozai will use a comet to deal one last deadly strike against the other nations and claim a Fire Nation victory. elizashley, they've got the promise part one, two, and three that you can read and it'll explain some of these things, like how Republic City was founded from Legend of Korra. Also the search part 1 is one is out, which is soley focused on zuko and the gang finding his mom. Part 2 and 3 aren't out yet, though. You can look it up and read it online.

I wanna know with who toph ends up and most importantly zuko has to find his mom... aint a clifhanger a clifhanger so you'll know how it continued? :'(
and in the legend of korra there was a flying bizon.... did appa survive that long? cause... since it was the last of it's kind it couldn't possibly have kids.
I want answers and if they don't make a fourth book of the last airbender then, can't they make the 2nd book of korra a bit more revealing the past?

2. Graphic Novels are self-contained comics about 60-120 pages each. (The Promise is about 70 for each part)
3. Part 3 comes out in September
4. They are great reads and I enjoyed them
5. Korra is the series

A graphic novel is exactly what it says a novel (book) with pictures, or a COMIC and yeah they have only released the first 2 parts to the promise they need to hurry up. Or at least bring back the series instead of bringing crappy korra into it

They have made an adventure set one year after season 3, sadly its a graphic novel call The Promis and it follows how Fire Lord Zuko an Aang created Republic City. Its not actually that good as it is written by someone else not the creators but it does bridge the gap between the original and the spin-off. There is also another graphic novel to be released called The Search which follows Zuko, Azula And Team Avatar on a journey to find Ursa. But its still not a cartoon so it won't be as good :( sad times.

They should make another season about Zuko finding his mum and going on an adventure with May and her circus friend (dont remember the name),, thats a show i would watch,, i know they made like a sequel season of the next avatar (called "The legend of Korra" for those who havent heard) but i reckon the Fire Lord deserves at least a season of his own!! :D
