I feel a bit of understanding for Brody. I feel he really just was systematically broken down and rebuilt in a since to do Al Qaeda dirty work. After 8 years of terror and abuse, isolation malnutrition and God knows what else it just seems hard to believe that he is at all functional, let alone coherent enough to carry out and follow through with orders, learn code, perform socially and interact normally without showing any scar tissue from his experience that is noticeable to those around him. Those qualities show a strength of character and a mental disciplining that should have kept him from being broken in the first place. This the conundrum. What do you guys think?

ladybug21 i so agree with you... its just not realistic to me that every muslim in the whole world is evil ans a terrorist.. ans carrie is literaly insane but i still love her for some reason... and poor brody.. its obvious he has been brainwashed... its not entirely his fault..

I really want to like Homeland but I can't get past the way Muslims are portrayed. They are exclusively evil in this show and it's really disturbing. Couldn't they have balanced out all of the evil with just one good Muslim character? It would be a lot more realistic and a lot less damaging.

Another TV Show that demonizes muslims and brain washing people creating more hatred and prejudices. So sick of all the American new/tv shows / movies/ .... etc that does the same thing over and over again. When will this paranoia stop ?? !!!!
