this season was ok... i just think they are going back and forth with the whole robin and ted thing! i mean it's over! seriously watching it happen over and over again kinda gets boring, and annoying robin is with barney why couldn't they let that play out instead of bringing ted back into the equation.. really its stupid and pointless if they wanted ted and robin to be together they should've just done that instead of going back to it when they don't have any other story lines to go back to, i personally really like barney and robin together a lot more than ted and robin.

ive read some disturbing news from a CBS rep about the upcoming season somewhere saying that EVERY episode of the final season is going to take place during the weekend of barneys and robins wedding... now i dont know if i read that right but if thats true they might as well have ended it at 8 seasons. 1 maybe 2 episode coverage of the wedding would have been bearable, but to force us to sit through an entire season (much less the final season) revolving around 1 weekend of chance encounters by the cast with the mother is a slap in the face of the fans. i have no idea how interesting this final season can be with all these restrictions they've decided to put. we learned how they met a while ago and we learned what she looked like in the last episode, the fans wants to see how there love develops over time that makes her the "one", not draw out there meeting for an entire (final) season... HIMYM - quirky adventures + seriousness = not the show i fell in love with

I think it's annoying that people complain about the show getting boring when they never show the mother, well guess what then we have 8 whole season worth of boring! The whole show isnt ust about him meeting the mother, it's jut built like that. I think it's more important for those who just want to see the mother to focus on the last episode on this season, because on monday theres a new episode, and theres two episode two weeks after that too. So wait until the 13 of may (14 for me) and stop complaining, because if you don't like the show and you just want to see the mother, stop posting negative comments... -.- but I agree it's gotten more boring, but it's becoming more exciting too as the end comes closer :)

Dude robin is like a seven and a half at best, people who says shes a ten is annoying. they have to understand that they have to leave room on the scale for girls that are actually tens. There are girls out there that make her look like a dog faced bitch. im not touching this show anymore until the season is over because all the annoying breaks between every other episode, i hope theyr actually using the time to try and write better jokes and hope theyr not just sitting there thinking that thier shows the stuff and that they think everyone thinks its worth the wait. i mean i know the last few dont have any breaks inbetween really, but still

I gave up on this show this season. I just could not do it anylonger. There have been too many laughless episodes and a lot of really crappy writing. No wonder Segel left. Too bad he was talked into returning, though. He would have been better off. They're really 'Lost'ing up this show, by that I mean dragging it out rather than making every episode worth watching, and pertinent to the main theme of the story.

This show is good because people can jump into it. supernatural is a show where you need to know the storyline.
you can explain this show in a sentence or two. other shows such as drama take a lot more time to explain and people who are not hardcore fans wont give it a shot. And this is a 22minute show compared to 44minute -
I must admit the show has changed since it was released. Ted is becoming more soppy and less man like every episode, Barney has changed almost completely and i think they should still have him the same even though he is engaged to Robin, it would be so much funnier.

However although the show has changed, i still think it's hilarious and a great show, so i understand why it is always ranked between 2nd and 1st :)

For God's sake some of you are complain that the show has a bad script or actors and that you are sick of waiting for the mother WTF?? The show is not only about meeting the mother is also about describing the way of life 'Ted' used to live, i laughed at every episode of "How i met your mother" and it's actually a great show so if you do not want to wait anymore or you are sick of the bad acting etc etc just wait another year and a half until the shows comes to an end and watch the last episode you freaking losers

Best show ever! And I have some great news! I read somewhere that it won't be long until Barney and Robin's wedding and Ted will meet the mother, actually sooner than expected! And we won't just see him meeting the mother, we will actually see how they fell in love and how Barney and Robin's marriage will be like and if they last! I can't wait!

How disappointing, HIMYM has been renewed for another season. We all have to wait until april/may 2014 to find out the identity of Ted's wife. And, the writing for the show is really sucking this season.
