I know you guys like him but great man? these are actors not fire fighters risking their lives to save a baby from it's crib ITS JUST A GUY WHO FUCKIN MODELED AND DID A SO-SO SHOW THAT EVERYONE WATCHED CUZ IT HAS lots of tits and fighting. just saying the term great man seemed to be used on the wrong people. i'm sure he was a great man to his family and his wife and kids but as a society in whole lets reserve the term GREAT man for those who actually deserve it history changing men and women who leave a better life for all those in their wake. not someone who does a lot of sit ups and can remember his lines

ok so the first aired season was:
1."blood and sand" with spartacus as andy
2."gods of the arena" which is the prequel to blood and sand, before there was a spartacus
3."vengeance" which is kind of the second season to blood and sand. the aftermath of what happens at the end of the season. with the new actor as spartacus.
4."war of the damned" which is whats airing right now and i think it is the last season unfortunately.
the first spartacus by Andy was amazing because the actor himself has this deep features and an amazing way of showing his feelings onto his face and eyes. he could have just not spoken the whole season and everyone would still know everything he went through for all i know, he is that good of an actor. may he rest in peace.
the new guy however, is way hotter and has a powerful voice and persona and i really like him but he does not have the same deep eye things ANDY had. i might be wrong i dont know but that is my opinion and i thought i should share it. saw loads of people getting the season wrong and not watching them in order which believe me i think they should.

they could have done better with the war scenes...the slow motion thing is damn annoying..especially after watching game of thrones..but nevertheless..awesome show!!

That was fantastic....so gutted to hear about Andy Whitfield...what a Legend and great actor. I can imagine he would have gone on to big movies with that great performance under his belt. Gone boy never forgotten RIP our favorite gladiator x -

This show is SO GOOD, I'm addicted. I think I like this season better than Vengeance, however, I saw Vengeance first; maybe I just like this one better because it provides clarity and a basis for the significance and depth of what happened in Vengeance. (Sigh) I am in love…and I hope there are many more seasons of SPARTACUS!

Oh wow, did not know Vengeance was the second part to this. I just watched the entire season; I would have watched this season first had I known! Guess I'll go on another Spartacus marathon then and watch all 13 of these!
