ya know this is an entertaining show, i rly like it. now if it werent so pro liberal pro obama, anti republican conservative anti free thinking unless its in agreement with the writer it could be a GREAT show. the worst thing about this show isnt that it portrays all conservatives as selfish nitwits and liberals as missunderstood freedom of information seekers..(its ussualy the other way around to you international folks) and its not that the guy sorkin is such a staunch liberal that he cast hanoi jane of all people as the most powerful yet most miss understood and goody goody character on the show.. the worst thing about this show is that there are a vast number of viewers local and international that actualy believe that this is the way the media works in this country, as if all the media is at the beck and call of the conservatives. which their not, because if they were you would here more about how liberals promise things and then stab people in the back, not just stories about how liberals view conservatives as enept. and sorkin knows people will take this kind of story to heart. so long as it has a great story and plot line he knows full well that people will take this show at face value , and it really IS an entertaining show, although not very accurate, for instance go compare those per capita numbers from the first episode to actual numbers. i really DO like this show, its very entertaining, in many ways this is the way the media works in this country, its primarily for entertainment purposes and they rarely cover actual issues, ussualy opting to cover stories about personal matters to empower the viewer with the mindset that they lead a better life than the person in the story. the odd thing is that sorkin says he wants to write this show in an unbiased manner, yet all he talks about is how awsome obama is or how stupid and backwards he thinks conservative are, and by proxy all other conservatives MUST be. thats not very "un biased" in my novice opinion. its a good show, but if sorkin could just do the tough thing and substitute the liberal fluffing for an actual unbiased plot that wasnt laced with backwards thinking to feed the viewer a false sense of what is going on in politics.... it could be a lot better

I am wondering how you can consider this "marginally left leaning" its pretty hardcore leftism. I couldnt get past the second episode

This is an absolute pleasure to watch... yeah, I tend to lean toward the conservative side of things but, this marginally left-leaning news show is incredibly written and directed/ produced even better.

In an age of mind-numbing television... this show hits the spot with it's thoughtfully compounded story lines and real world topics. -
I agree with Tristan !!! I knew it was going to be a good show, but from The West Wing , thats a pretty high bar to surpass! But WOW is he giving it a run for its money!! This is my favorite new show. Absolutely amazing.

I was told it was good by a friend. Wasn't too sure, so gave the first episode a try to see for myself. As soon as I saw Aaron Sorkin in the opening credits, I knew it was going to be awesome.
